About the Task Force

The Stilly-Snohomish Fisheries Enhancement Task Force is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, registered as a charitable organization with the Washington Secretary of State. The mission of the Task Force is to ensure the future of salmon in the Stillaguamish and Snohomish River and Island County watersheds, a combined land area of more than 2,400 square miles. Since its beginning in 1990, the Task Force has directed its resources and energy to the challenge of developing community partnerships and strategies to improve and restore the recreational and commercial fisheries of the Pacific Northwest.

Cloverdale County Park, Arlington (NF Stillaguamish River Planting)

  • Take I-5 North toward Arlington; take the WA-530 exit, EXIT 208, toward ARLINGTON/DARRINGTON
  • Turn RIGHT onto WA-530 heading EAST. Follow for approximately 3.8 miles.
  • At the first stoplight, turn LEFT onto WA-530/WA-9. Take an immediate RIGHT onto W BURKE AVE/WA-530. Continue to follow WA-530. Follow for 3.8 miles.
  • Turn LEFT onto 115TH AVE NE.
  • Follow “Planting” signs to the parking lot.
  • PLEASE CARPOOL IF POSSIBLE—Parking is limited

Jetty Island

From SOUTH of Everett:

  • Take I-5 NORTH to EXIT 193-Pacific Ave/WA-529 S toward City Center
  • Turn LEFT onto Pacific Ave/WA-529 and follow for approximately 1 mile
  • Turn RIGHT onto W Marine View Dr. and follow for approximately 1.5 miles
  • Turn LEFT onto 13th St. Follow the signs to parking and the sign in tables

From NORTH of Everett:

  • Take I-5 SOUTH to EXIT 198-Port of Everett/North Broadway/WA-529 S
  • Follow ramp toward Port of Everett/Marine View Drive
  • Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp toward E Marine View Drive/ WA-529 S, and follow for approximately 2 miles
  • Turn RIGHT onto 13th St. Follow the signs to parking and the sign in tables

Jim Creek Planting

  • Take I-5 North toward Arlington
  • Take EXIT 208 for WA-530 toward ARLINGTON/DARRINGTON, and turn RIGHT onto WA-530. Follow for 3.8 miles.
  • At the first stoplight, turn LEFT onto WA-530/WA-9. Take an immediate RIGHT onto W BURKE AVE/WA-530. Continue to follow WA-530 for 1.1 miles
  • Turn RIGHT onto ARLINGTON HEIGHTS RD and follow for  2.9 miles
  • Turn RIGHT onto 123RD AVE NE and follow for  1 mile
  • Turn LEFT onto 212TH ST NE
  • 212TH ST NE becomes 127TH AVE NE. Follow for approx 0.5 miles.
  • Follow the “Planting” signs to the parking area.

Kayak Point Park

From Everett:

  • Take I-5 North and get off at WA-528 (EXIT 199) toward Marysville
  • Turn LEFT (WEST) onto 4th Street
  • 4th Street will become Marine Dr. NE; follow Marine Dr. NE for approximately 12.5 miles
  • Turn LEFT into the Park Entrance and follow the signs to Parking

McCormick Park, Duvall (Snoqualmie River Planting)

  • From Everett, take Hwy 2 east to Monroe
  • Once in Monroe, turn RIGHT (south) onto Hwy 203 (also called Lewis St. or Duvall-Monroe Rd.)
  • Continue on Hwy 203 – it turns into Main Street in Duvall.
  • In Duvall, turn RIGHT into the parking area at 14701 Main Street NE (also HWY 203) – look for yellow signs that say “planting”
  • Follow the yellow “planting” signs near the back of the business complex/parking lot to get to our tent & sign-in booth
  • PLEASE CARPOOL IF POSSIBLE—Parking is limited

Picnic Point County Park

From the North:

  • Take I-5 SouthTake EXIT 186: 96E/128th Street SW
  • Turn RIGHT (WEST) onto 128th Street SW. Becomes Airport Road
  • Turn LEFT (SOUTH) onto Hwy 99/Pacific HWY (1.8 miles)
  • Turn RIGHT (WEST) onto Shelby Road (1 mile)
  • ½ mile past the Mukilteo Speedway/525 South Entrance (Red Sign on corner: Shelby Health Clinic)
  • Cross Beverly Park Rd
  • Bear RIGHT at the Y-intersection onto Picnic Point Road
  • Brown Sign on the right: Picnic Point Park
  • Approximately 1-1.5 miles to the park entrance.

From the South:

  • Take I-5 North
  • Take Exit 182 (Hwy 525 N)
  • Merge onto Hwy 525 N heading toward Hwy 99
  • After 3.5 miles turn LEFT onto Lincoln Way
  • Turn LEFT onto Beverly Park Rd
  • Turn RIGHT onto Picnic Point Rd
  • Bear RIGHT at the Y intersection to stay on Picnic Point Road
  • Follow Picnic Point Rd for approximately 1-1.5 miles to the park entrance

Stillwater Wildlife Area

Directions From Everett:

  • From Everett, take Hwy 2 east to Monroe
  • In Monroe, turn RIGHT (heading south) onto LEWIS STREET/Hwy 203.
  • Continue on Hwy 203 for 11 miles
  • At the round-about, continue heading south on Hwy 203/CARNATION-DUVALL RD toward Carnation.
  • Follow 203 for another 3.7 miles past the round-about, then turn RIGHT into an unmarked parking lot (look for the yellow “planting” sign).  The turn into the parking lot is just past mile marker 9.
  • Follow “planting” signs to get to our tent & sign-in booth

Directions from Seattle:

  • Take SR 520 East, and when it ends, continue straight onto the AVONDALE EXIT.
  • Continue on AVONDALE. for less than a mile, and at the light turn RIGHT onto NOVELTY HILL RD.
  • Continue on NOVELTY HILL RD. for 4.7 miles, and then turn LEFT onto W SNOQUALMIE VALLEY RD NE.
  • In 0.3 miles, Turn RIGHT onto NE 124TH ST.
  • In one mile you will reach a round-about - take 1st exit onto CARNATION-DUVALL RD NE/Hwy 203, heading south.
  • Follow Hwy 203 for another 3 miles past the round-about, then turn RIGHT into a parking lot (look for the yellow “planting” sign). The turn into the parking lot is immediately BEFORE the left hand turn onto Fay Rd, just before the gas station at Stillwater.
  • Follow “planting” signs to get to our tent & sign-in booth

Stilly River Clean-up:

From Everett

  • Take I-5 North.
  • Get off at EXIT 208: Hwy 530 East
  • Turn RIGHT (East) on Hwy 530 (follow for 0.4 miles).
  • Turn LEFT (North) onto Strotz Road/27th Avenue NE - there is a fire station on the corner.
  • Follow the parking signs to the parking area.
