Native Plant Salvage (2/6/2010)
Address: 16210 Jim Creek Road, Arlington, WA
Directions from Everett/Seattle:
- Take I-5 north to Arlington
- Take Exit 208 for Arlington/Darrington
- Follow State Route 530 EAST (right turn) toward Arlington/Darrington
- At the first stoplight, turn left onto HWY 9 north, then take an immediate right to continue on SR 530 east
- Follow Hwy 530 east for 3.7 miles, then turn right onto Jim Creek Road
- Continue 3.5 miles to the driveway on the right with a sign that says: “Thorlakson, Kuske, Campbell” (may be hard to see – look for our yellow “salvage” sign)
- Follow the bright yellow signs to the property and parking.

Directions from Everett/Seattle:
- Take I-5 north to Highway 2
- Take Highway 2 east toward Snohomish
- Merge LEFT onto WA 204 E towards Lake Stevens
- Follow WA 204 for 2.7 miles, then turn left onto WA-9 north(at the 2nd stoplight)
- After 1.7 miles turn right onto WA-92 (heading east toward Granite Falls)
- The property is approximately 3 miles down the road on the right, look for bright yellow sign!

Directions from Everett:
- Take Stevens Pass Hwy/US-2 E towards Snohomish/Monroe
- Bear right onto Hwy 2 east toward Monroe
- In Monroe, turn right at N Lewis St/WA-203 S (there is a stoplight at this intersection) toward Duvall and follow for 11 miles
- At the traffic circle, continue heading south on WA 203/CARNATION-DUVALL RD toward Carnation (the 2nd exit in the traffic circle). Continue on Hwy 203 into Carnation
- In Carnation, turn left at Entwistle St.
- Continue for about one mile (road changes name to NE 45th St/Tolt River Rd) and then turn RIGHT at 334th Ave NE
- Turn right to continue on NE 42nd Pl
- Follow yellow “planting” signs to get to our tent & sign-in booth
Directions from Seattle:
- Take SR 520 East for approximately 12 miles, and when it ends, exit onto WA 202 E.
- Turn right onto Redmond Way/WA 202 E, and continue for approximately 7.7 miles.Take a left onto NE Tolt Hill Rd and go up and down the hill until the road ends at Hwy 203.
- Turn left onto Hwy 203 N/Tolt Ave toward Carnation. Follow Tolt Ave into Carnation.
- In Carnation, turn right onto Entwistle St.
- Continue for about one mile (road changes name to NE 45th St/Tolt River Rd) and then turn RIGHT at 334th Ave NE
- Turn right to continue on NE 42nd Pl

- Take EXIT 208 for Hwy-530 toward Arlington, and turn RIGHT (east) onto Hwy 530. Follow for 3.8 miles.
- At the first stoplight, turn LEFT onto Hwy 530/Hwy 9. Take an immediate RIGHT onto W BURKE AVE/Hwy 530. Continue to follow Hwy 530 for 1.1 miles
- Turn RIGHT onto Arlington Heights Rd and follow for 2.9 miles
- Turn RIGHT onto 123RD Ave NE and follow for 1 mile
- Turn LEFT onto 212TH St NE. 212th St becomes 127TH Ave NE.
- 127th Ave will come to a Y – intersection. Take a slight left onto 208th St NE. Follow 208th St NE down the hill; the planting site is on the right side of the road (approx. 0.7 miles). Look for the “Planting” signs.

Take I-5 north toward Arlington
Take Exit 208/Hwy 530 toward Arlington
Turn right (east) to Arlington and follow for 3.8 miles to the first stoplight in town.
Turn left (north) on Hwy 9 toward Bryant, then immediately turn right (east) onto W Burke Ave/Hwy 530 E.
Continue on HWY 530 east for a little over 5 miles, then turn left onto 139th Ave NE.
Turn left into the second driveway.

- Take EXIT 208 for Hwy-530 toward Arlington, and turn RIGHT (east) onto Hwy 530. Follow for 3.8 miles.
- At the first stoplight, turn LEFT onto Hwy 530/Hwy 9. Take an immediate RIGHT onto W BURKE AVE/Hwy 530. Continue to follow Hwy 530 for almost 4.5 miles.
- Turn right onto Jim Creek Road, and follow Jim Creek Road for approx. 2.8 miles.
- Turn right onto Wallitner Road and follow for ½ miles. The planting site is on the left (southeast) side of the road (mailbox for the property is on the right side of road). Look for the “Planting” signs
From SOUTH of Everett:
- Take I-5 NORTH to EXIT 193-Pacific Ave/WA-529 S toward City Center
- Turn LEFT onto Pacific Ave/WA-529 and follow for approximately 1 mile
- Turn RIGHT onto W Marine View Dr. and follow for approximately 1.5 miles
- Turn LEFT onto 13th St. Follow the signs to parking and the sign in tables
From NORTH of Everett:
- Take I-5 SOUTH to EXIT 198-Port of Everett/North Broadway/WA-529 S
- Follow ramp toward Port of Everett/Marine View Drive
- Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp toward E Marine View Drive/ WA-529 S, and follow for approximately 2 miles
- Turn RIGHT onto 13th St. Follow the signs to parking and the sign in tables
From Everett:
- Take I-5 North and get off at WA-528 (EXIT 199) toward Marysville
- Turn LEFT (WEST) onto 4th Street
- 4th Street will become Marine Dr. NE; follow Marine Dr. NE for approximately 12.5 miles
- Turn LEFT into the Park Entrance and follow the signs to Parking
From the North:
- Take I-5 SouthTake EXIT 186: 96E/128th Street SW
- Turn RIGHT (WEST) onto 128th Street SW. Becomes Airport Road
- Turn LEFT (SOUTH) onto Hwy 99/Pacific HWY (1.8 miles)
- Turn RIGHT (WEST) onto Shelby Road (1 mile)
- ½ mile past the Mukilteo Speedway/525 South Entrance (Red Sign on corner: Shelby Health Clinic)
- Cross Beverly Park Rd
- Bear RIGHT at the Y-intersection onto Picnic Point Road
- Brown Sign on the right: Picnic Point Park
- Approximately 1-1.5 miles to the park entrance.
From the South:
- Take I-5 North
- Take Exit 182 (Hwy 525 N)
- Merge onto Hwy 525 N heading toward Hwy 99
- After 3.5 miles turn LEFT onto Lincoln Way
- Turn LEFT onto Beverly Park Rd
- Turn RIGHT onto Picnic Point Rd
- Bear RIGHT at the Y intersection to stay on Picnic Point Road
- Follow Picnic Point Rd for approximately 1-1.5 miles to the park entrance
Directions From Everett:
- From Everett, take Hwy 2 east to Monroe
- In Monroe, turn RIGHT (heading south) onto LEWIS STREET/Hwy 203.
- Continue on Hwy 203 for 11 miles
- At the round-about, continue heading south on Hwy 203/CARNATION-DUVALL RD toward Carnation.
- Follow 203 for another 3.7 miles past the round-about, then turn RIGHT into an unmarked parking lot (look for the yellow “planting” sign). The turn into the parking lot is just past mile marker 9.
- Follow “planting” signs to get to our tent & sign-in booth
Directions from Seattle:
- Take SR 520 East, and when it ends, continue straight onto the AVONDALE EXIT.
- Continue on AVONDALE. for less than a mile, and at the light turn RIGHT onto NOVELTY HILL RD.
- Continue on NOVELTY HILL RD. for 4.7 miles, and then turn LEFT onto W SNOQUALMIE VALLEY RD NE.
- In 0.3 miles, Turn RIGHT onto NE 124TH ST.
- In one mile you will reach a round-about - take 1st exit onto CARNATION-DUVALL RD NE/Hwy 203, heading south.
- Follow Hwy 203 for another 3 miles past the round-about, then turn RIGHT into a parking lot (look for the yellow “planting” sign). The turn into the parking lot is immediately BEFORE the left hand turn onto Fay Rd, just before the gas station at Stillwater.
- Follow “planting” signs to get to our tent & sign-in booth
From Everett
- Take I-5 North.
- Get off at EXIT 208: Hwy 530 East
- Turn RIGHT (East) on Hwy 530 (follow for 0.4 miles).
- Turn LEFT (North) onto Strotz Road/27th Avenue NE - there is a fire station on the corner.
- Follow the parking signs to the parking area.
